Often described as a Rocambole (and cross-listed as one here), I now suspect it's a Marbled Purple Stripe, by its leaf architecture, clove count, and flavor. I hesitate to declare it's Marbled, but I suspect it is. No matter- the key takeaways are that it's producing 5-6 large, bulbous cloves that hold their texture up through cooking- with a fairly mild cooked flavor.
