A smaller plant of the Rocambole family, it appears Ukrainian is a master of surprises. Ukraine is NOT. WEAK! (Seinfeld reference...)The sparse dwarven plants may not impress with size up above but underneath is still a nice plump little bulbushka. It seems the Ukrainians and Siberians (see “Siberian” in the Marbled Purple Stripes) select their garlic for thrifty little plants that yield above their weight class.
