Found in an abandoned garden in Washington State, Chet's Italian is now grown around the continent as a popular softneck amongst gardeners. Quite mild at first, but as I've found with Artichokes, they get spicy on the late end of their storage life,which is a long one. 8-10 cloves per bulb.
